This is Polygonatum odoratum ‘Variegatum’. This spring beauty is now in our garden thanks to my husband who loves woodland plants. This beauty gets about two feet tall and can handle dense shade with moist soil. Those beautiful little flowers hanging down look like ballet shoes just waiting for dancers. I suppose my favorite reason for planting this with my ferns and other woodland plants is the white in the foliage and bloom. White is the only color seen by moonlight and therefor brightens up your space even at night.
